We are so thankful that you are able to attend our wedding in Mallorca!

We fell in love with the island when we visited with friends in 2015 and it has become a place we have kept coming back to. We believe its beautiful landscape of rolling olive groves, rugged mountains and luminous turquoise waters makes it a perfect setting for the weekend.

We have put together this website which details the weekend’s schedule, information on the wedding venue, travel arrangements and accommodation.

We feel so lucky to celebrate a weekend on this beautiful island with you all and cannot wait to see you there!

Welcome drinks

For all those arriving on Saturday, we would love to invite you for some drinks and canapés at Purobeach Club Palma, on the outskirts of Palma.

Venue: Purobeach Club Palma (location)

Time: 8pm – midnight

Dress Code: White Party – smart casual. White dresses for the ladies and linen encouraged for Men!

Wedding day

Venue: Finca Comasemma, near Orient (location)

Time: 4:30pm – 2am

Transport: Pick up at Hotel Gran Melia de Mar, Illetas, 3:30pm sharp. Approximate travel time: 45mins. There will be carriages organised for the end of the evening at two pick-up times – midnight and 2am – for drop-off back at the Gran Melia de Mar. If you would like to leave earlier we would recommend pre-booking a taxi in advance.

Dress code: Late spring cocktail dress. Cocktail dresses for the ladies. Lounge suits and ties for men. The ground at the venue is cobbled and uneven in places, as well as the dinner being served on a lawn, as such high heels may be unsuitable. It will cool off in the evening, so a shawl or light cardigan is highly recommended. No hats or fascinators needed.

Recovery lunch*

For those of you who will be staying on in Mallorca or catching late afternoon/evening flights, we would like to invite you to join us at one of our favourite restaurants in Mallorca. It’s in the area of Mallorca we love most, serving excellent seafood, overlooking the beautiful Cala Deia. The perfect spot for a pick-me-up and dip into the Mediterranean. It is, however, a bit of a drive from Illetas and Palma (approx. 45min).

We are still working the details out for this day and will update you here once it’s all confirmed!

*please do let us know though if you will be around for lunch on this day!

There are countless fantastic places to stay in Mallorca however we would recommend the following locations for ease of attending the main events of the weekend:

We have blocked out a number of rooms at the hotel Gran Melia de Mar (websitelocation). It is where Ashley and Rob will be staying over the weekend. It is one of the coach pick-up/drop-off points for the wedding day. Please note that this is an adults-only hotel. If you would like to book one of the rooms, you can download the booking form from the following link and send it to the email address you will find in the document.

We would also very much recommend the Hotel Palace Bonanza Playa & Spa (website; location). It is child-friendly and is walking distance to the Gran Melia and Purobeach Illetas.

There are many other good value hotels in the Illetas resort that can be found on all the usual hotel websites.

PALMA (old town)

For those who have never visited Palma, its beautiful and historic old town is well-worth exploring.

Here you’ll find a wide range of hotels as well as top restaurants for all the foodies, bars and clubs for the party people and some excellent historical and cultural sites for those feeling scholarly. There are also a number of beach clubs located on the outskirts for those wishing to top up their tan while enjoying a cocktail or two.

Taxis are numerous and easy to hire.

Some recommended hotels in the old town:

  • Can Cera
  • Hotel Tres
  • Es Princep
  • BO Hotel Palma
  • Boutique Hotel Can Alomar
  • Sant Francesc Hotel Singular

The best way of getting to Mallorca is to fly into Palma de Mallorca international airport (PMI). From there it is a 20min taxi to Illetas, or 15min to Palma Old Town.
